The Calgary Flames, who are
in their 18th NHL season and the 14th in the Saddledome, are performing
in one of the best entertainment facilities in North America. The Saddledome
now seats over 20,000 for hockey. This facility opened Saturday, October
15, 1983; when Edmonton edged the Flames 4-3. The Flames formally assumed
management of the Saddledome on August 1, 1994.
The Canadian Airlines Saddledome
recently underwent renovations, and was officially re-opened on October
25, 1995. New additions include premier dining and meeting facilities in
the new Chrysler Club, 46 Chrysler Club Suites wich are 14 rows from the
ice and club seating section with exlusive restaurants and lounges. |
